Giveaway Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
This promotion is conducted by Backyard Birdies ("the Promoter").
2. Promotion Period
The promotion commences at 6:00 pm AEST on Saturday, 1 August 2026 and closes at 11:59 pm AEST on Tuesday, 1 September 2026.
The prize draw will take place 48 hours after the Promotion Period closes, on Thursday, 3 September 2026.
Entries received outside the Promotion Period will not be accepted.
3. Eligibility
Entry is open to Australian residents who:
are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry;
reside within, or are willing to redeem the prize within the Backyard Birdies service area; and
comply with these Terms and Conditions.
Employees of Backyard Birdies and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
4. Service Area
The prize is available only for bookings within 50 kilometres of Warners Bay, New South Wales.
If the selected winner requests delivery outside this service area, the Promoter reserves the right to deem the entry ineligible and conduct a redraw.
5. How to Enter
To enter, participants must complete all of the following during the Promotion Period:
Follow @_backyardbirdies on Instagram.
Like the official giveaway post.
Tag two (2) friends in the comments of the official giveaway post.
All entry requirements must be completed before the Promotion Period closes.
Only one (1) entry per Instagram account is permitted.
No purchase is necessary to enter.
6. Prize
One (1) winner will receive their choice of either:
One (1) five (5) hour Backyard Birdies Golf Simulator Hire; or
One (1) five (5) hour Backyard Birdies Mini Golf Hire.
The prize includes standard delivery, setup and pack down within the eligible service area.
The prize:
is not transferable;
is not exchangeable for cash; and
cannot be substituted except where required by law.
7. Prize Redemption
The prize must be redeemed within twelve (12) months of the draw date.
Bookings are subject to availability and Backyard Birdies' standard booking terms.
8. Winner Selection
One (1) winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries.
The draw will occur on Thursday, 3 September 2026, being 48 hours after the Promotion Period closes.
The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. Winner Notification
The winner will be:
contacted via Instagram Direct Message within 48 hours of the draw
If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within seven (7) days, or is found to be ineligible, the Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw from the remaining eligible entries.
10. Privacy
Personal information collected during the promotion will be used solely for the purpose of administering the giveaway, contacting the winner and arranging prize delivery.
Personal information will not be sold or disclosed to third parties except where required by law.
11. General Conditions
The Promoter reserves the right to:
verify the validity of entries;
disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or breaches these Terms and Conditions; and
cancel, suspend or amend the promotion where necessary due to circumstances beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, subject to applicable laws.
The Promoter's decision regarding all aspects of the promotion is final.
12. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter accepts no responsibility for:
lost, late, incomplete or misdirected entries;
technical failures affecting entry into the promotion; or
any loss, damage or injury arising from participation in the promotion or use of the prize, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes any rights or guarantees available under the Australian Consumer Law.

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram.
By entering this promotion, participants acknowledge that they are providing their information to Backyard Birdies and not to Instagram, and release Instagram from any responsibility in relation to this promotion.
